Wink Announcement in Google MapMaker Forum

I was checking my "dailys" and noticed a new post in the MapMaker forum.
    https://productforums.google.com/for...ts/Q-UmlQEZdYE

    What caught my attention was:
    Enhancement
    -
Deprecating “Email” attribute in editing panel to streamline Map Maker with Google Maps. Existing features with email ID will be shown in the History panel of Map Maker.
Which looks like MapMaker & Google Maps differences may be put to an end soon!

Thoughts? Any "experts" know anything else? Am I getting excited over nothing?

I'm no MM Expert but that sounds like a big deal to me.

    Good find.

It's kind of disappointing, because MM has been steadily trimming away a lot of information fields that used to appear in MM. Photo URL, Payment type, Description, Popularity, and now Email. Those were very useful fields to have.
