How are ya'll dealing with Google listing issues after the demise of Google Map Maker

What are the techniques you are using to dig out all the duplicate Google listings now that the Map Maker is dead?

i am aware that the editing functionality has now been provided with in the Google Maps, but there is no way to follow up for 'duplicate' requests - you just report a 'duplicate' and that is it?

Are you now using the Google contact interface more often for fixing GMB related issues?

In Google Map Maker we could at least communicate to a reviewer.

Your best best is to head to @googlemybiz on Twitter and open a DM there. Or head to the product forums, where a TC can help. (But try Twitter first)

I wouldn't suggest using the duplicate reporting feature on Maps unless it's for a business that you don't work with (ex: a competitor). If you do use that feature, make sure the listing you are reporting is identical to the original or the team might not be able to match it up since there is no field to indicate which feature it's a duplicate of.

I've got to update my guide on what to do with duplicate listings - I have it on the radar to do in the next few weeks.
