    Need opinions about synup.com

    Hey guys,

I'm looking at some different citation tools (mostly for analysis & identifying duplicates/areas to fix), and stumbled across synup.com. Has anyone had any experience using this tool? What are some opinions? There's not a lot out there about it, so I want to get some expert opinions before I invest the time in testing.

If no one has used it, then I guess i'll be the guinea pig and report back

Looks cool. I tried that today for one of my clients. IMO $1.50 for fixing incorrect citation or adding new one is not bad. Beside using that tool you have the power to select which sites do you want your business to be listed. Personally I dont like some of those sites they show on the free account. Theres much better list than that.

The tools also have rank checker but don't have time to check if its accurate. It also shows the business reviews on specific site which is great too.

    Re: Need opinions about synup.com

    Hello,
I'd like to bump this thread rather than create a new one as I'm interested in this as well. I've been seeing their name pop up more and more frequently so I'm looking for some good reviews. I'll probably try them out either way since it's very affordable.

    Has anyone used their services?
    Thanks!

I'd also like a review of this tool myself. Stumbled on them awhile ago and still very interested, just haven't had time to check them out yet.

If my memory serves me correct, they manually build listings and even provide user/pass information which can be a nice alternative to Yext where it's 1 business description to rule them all.

So if you'd like to have some variations amongst your citations, Synup is an affordable alternative to Yext.

    Re: Need opinions about synup.com

I have been using the free portion of the tool for the last few months.

It is a great tool for helping find duplicates on many of the citation sites.
I am really just using this piece and it is great for finding duplicates during the cleanup process. It's not perfect, but for that piece of the puzzle, it works well.

I'm glad to know about this tool. I use Yext but this seems to be a viable and more affordable choice. I'll have to investigate.

    Re: Need opinions about synup.com

I've been a paid member ($2 per month) for a month or two after first learning about it here. I've done a few trial orders for fixing bad NAP or merging duplicate listings. So far, I'd say the jury is still out because the results aren't yet showing up.

I'd say it's less likely than more likely to work out, though. Its analysis of our citations and whether or not our sites have citations aren't very accurate.
