There is a HVAC company that has a Google+ page with the address listed and roofing as their category. How are they able to go from nowhere in sight to the top of rankings in the matter of 3 or 4 weeks? This is both confusing and frustrating. Take a look...
I have clients that get these calls, too. The number is always changing, but the calls are the same. The most recent number is 802-488-3091. When I call that number it just says "press 1 to have your number removed from the call list." I finally was able to get a client to play dumb and go...
I came across a new home builder that has 8 claimed locations. At least 5 of those are model homes. Google's guidelines are not clear in this situation. Has anyone delt with this before? Is this a legit listing? I didn't see any other posts about this when I glossed over the threads.
Thanks for the reply and info, Linda. I have handled bulk claims in the Places dashboard for clients before. I am just curious if there is/will be a way to bulk merge places pages with G+ or just bulk claim in G+? This is something I have not heard much about.
I have a potential client that has many locations. Is there a bulk upload method through Google+ Local yet? If so, how? If not, what is the best practice for a multiple location business with too many locations to go in individually and claim?
I looked through the forums and didn't...
Discovered a little quirk yesterday. Chrome had the circle image display on the new layout. Firefox still had the square image with the new layout for the same page. Anyone else notice this or any other differences between search engines?
Ok... This is going in a different direction that anticipated. I understand a New England lawyer directory isn't going to do much good for an Oklahoma plumber. I just thought there would be some lists of standard, go to citations that worked (nearly) universally. Like Citysearch or YP and so on...
True... We could hit the main categories of healthcare, service based businesses (roofing, construction, heat & air, etc), retail businesses and so on and so forth. I was just curious what citations the pros immediately go to... in general. Where is the juiciest low hanging fruit located?
I was just curious what are the citations that you automatically grab for a client as soon as they sign on. What are your top 10-20 citations that will move the needle quickly. I would just like to see a comparison from all of the local experts that roam these threads.
I went to add a video to a new client's Places page. When I went to edit the page it was 100% complete without a video. After adding the video, it is now at 93% complete. Any clue why this happened/how to fix it?
Gotcha, I am following now. I thought there was some special listing out there for certain types of business. Thank you for the info.
However, I was under the impression that holding off on the merge was the best thing for now.
