I work with so many local search consultants that work from home, have small kids, juggle a million things at once and still manage to get everything done. Don't know how you do it, but I salute you!

Re: Happy Mother's Day Local Search Moms!

    Happy Mother's Day! NOT!

Just had to report a domestic violence incident. Was worried the neighbor lady was going to get seriously hurt.

I used to be a counselor at a Safehouse for battered women, so I know how these things can go.

This is the 5th time I've reported this guy but some of the times I don't think anyone came. This time 6 cop cars came and stayed a long time.

You always wonder if it's really bad enough to call the cops. But it escalated like usual to loud banging like he was throwing either her or furniture around.

The officer came back and told me "yep you were right to be worried about her and you did the right thing calling us."

Still shaking. And a little afraid to walk out later to my car to go to my Mother's Day celebration in case he wants to retaliate. I'm across on the other side of building though so hopefully he does not know it was me. OH except for me banging a hammer on the wall to try to get him to stop before he hurt her. That could have been a little bit of a hint.

So that's my drama! Hope everyone else is having a wonderful peaceful Mother's Day.
