Unhappy Help with dental client who has 4 office locations

    Hello!

We have a dental client who has 4 office locations. We currently have their Google+ business pages setup and verified under 1 of the dentists' Google accounts.

    Buford, GA: https://plus.google.com/u/0/100353520855046318069/about
    Lagrange, GA: https://plus.google.com/u/0/117891084324585175747/about
    Lawrenceville, GA: https://plus.google.com/u/0/106239199234150838303/about
    Marietta, GA: https://plus.google.com/u/0/112188269967197168992/about

I have a few questions. If you could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it!

    1. Are these 4 pages setup correctly? Do you see any red flags?

    2. Which authorship code(s) should we add to the dentist's website? They have the main domain (Choice One Dentists | Serving Lawrenceville, Marietta, Buford & Lagrange, Ga.), PLUS separate pages for each office location (i.e. Buford Dentist | Reach Dr. Jacobs at 770-882-2539 | Choice One Dental Care®)

    3. I noticed that our listings aren't very close to being on page 1 in Google Maps for city name + dentist. Do you recommend anything?

Thanks so much. I really appreciate your time and expertise.

Re: help with dental client who has 4 office locations

In general, I would make sure your categories in G+ are all the same for the pages you prefer. The additional pages that are showing, but you haven't listed, are ranking better as they have the category set to Dentist. I would add new images to the cover and profile to make it more about the brand. Also, your website has the wrong maps embedded. Look at post #20 to embed correct map . I'm sure there is more others will point out. Heading into a meeting...

Buford: Google is preferring https://plus.google.com/116508040252...01/about?hl=en with 2 reviews when searching Dentist Buford. that listing has the category Dentist

LaGrange: You have 3 listings showing for this city.

    1. https://plus.google.com/105582078707...87/about?hl=en
    2. https://plus.google.com/117891084324...ut?gl=us&hl=en
    3. https://plus.google.com/107339773313...ut?gl=us&hl=en

Lawrenceville: There is another listing with a different name: https://plus.google.com/102374252514...ut?gl=us&hl=en

Re: Help with dental client who has 4 office locations

Thank you for your help so far!

Do you recommend that the main office phone number be placed on their Google+ page or a call tracking phone number?

Your G+ pages should reflect the actual Name, Address and Phone number (NAP) of the business location.

Alright, so call tracking phone numbers are not allowed at all on Google+ pages, correct?

Re: Help with dental client who has 4 office locations

Google say's, "Do not provide phone numbers or URLs that redirect or “refer” users to landing pages or phone numbers other than those of the actual business." I personally stay away from call tracking numbers as they can cause issues. I' m sure someone else can pipe in. There are some links and info below.

Here are a couple blog posts on the subject:

A GUIDE TO CALL TRACKING AND LOCAL SEARCH

There are some more links within this post:

The Truth about Call Tracking Numbers and Local Search Placement

Here are Google Places guidelines on the subject:

Website & Phone: Provide a phone number that connects to your individual business location as directly as possible, and provide one website that represents your individual business location.

    • Use a local phone number instead of a call center number whenever possible.
    • Do not provide phone numbers or URLs that redirect or “refer” users to landing pages or phone numbers other than those of the actual business.
