    Hi Chris and welcome!

Your question was sort of wide open, but if you want more specific and direct help... if you post the specific keywords and a link to your Google Page page (G+ Local listing), then I'll move this down to the help section and the pros here will hopefully give you specific advice about what you could change and approve.

    Re: Local SEO

I have been doing SEO for my Web Page for 4 years. I dominate my home city SEO with web site and my directory listings I just added a sister city as a key word. I do Income taxes for locals

My key words for Goggle are "Income Tax Santa Paula" I live in California. I moved ahead of competitors Google+ directory listings. That took a great deal of work. Now I have a competitor Yelp directory listing to move ahead. I do Manuel Back links. This includes Anchor Text. I also use a variety of Key words I , also back links to tabs on my website besides the main page

    Re: Local SEO

If that's you in the #2 spot for the query given, you need a meta description and I would work on optimizing that. It's possible to rank #2 and get more clicks than the guy in the #1 spot. Don't optimize that for ranking, but rather for click-through rates.

You are doing great to rank #2 for Income Tax Santa Paula since you are not even located in Santa Paula. That is pretty hard to do.

But you'll never beat that Yelp listing I don't think. It's not your competitor's Yelp listing specifically it's the power of Yelp in general that would be hard to beat especially since you are in a different city.

Mark's suggest to add description is important.

Also if you want to rank for Income Tax Santa Paula that exact phrase should be in your title tag.

Also that H2 at very top of page should be changed to:

"CEL Financial Services - Income Tax Preparation - Mobile Tax Preparer - Serving Fillmore and Santa Paula, CA

Additionally, I don't think you'll rank in the pack for your main KW since you aren't located in SP. But you do rank in Fillmore.

So wanted to let you know you have a couple violations on your G+ Local page.

The way you have your name listed is a violation:
CEL Finance Services Fillmore Income Tax Preparation

Also if you are mobile and your address is your home address you MUST hide your address on your local listing.

Let us know if you need more info on any of the above.

    Re: Local SEO

My concern if I change it to ""CEL Financial Services - Income Tax Preparation - Mobile Tax Preparer - Serving Fillmore and Santa Paula, CA' My competitors from Santa Paula with add Fillmore to their directory listing page. I do not want them to invade Fillmore. I could also add Santa Paula to my directory listing too. I will not do this either.

    Re: Local SEO

No I was talking about top of your website, not your Google Local listing. It would be a violation to list it there.

At the top of this page: Income Tax Preparation in Santa Paula, CA - CEL Financial which ranks for Santa Paula, it has that line at the top with Filmore, so any competitors that see that page are going to see "Service Filmore" at the top anyway - so you are really not hiding it from anyone now.

You just aren't emphasizing to Google OR to customers enough on your site that you also serve Santa Paula.

But it's fine, you don't need to change it. You just asked for suggestions and that's one.

    Re: Local SEO

You are correct. I understand that.

My idea is make an anchor text comment and be able to share it with my Google plus page. Will google plus take anchor text? Is this possible? And how would I find anchor pages that I can share with Google plus?

    Thank you for your input
Seriously thank you again. The double thank you

On a blog I leave a comment with a back link, sometimes it gives you an option to share it on your Google plus account.
