    Panda 4.1 is here!

I didn't see a post about this yet, sorry if already posted:
    Panda 4.1 -- Google's 27th Panda Update -- Is Rolling Out

Google said in a post on Google+ that a “slow rollout” began earlier this week and will continue into next week, before being complete. Google said that depending on location, about 3%-to-5% of search queries will be affected.
This may be why I've see such a fluctuation in some .ca results and thought maybe Pigeon was lost Also why Pigeons been going cray-cray-- it was actually 2 different algo's updating at the same time.

I'm a little disappointed they decided to roll out a panda refresh. I have some clients that I've been working with that are in desperate need of a penguin refresh, so I guess we'll have to wait on that.

They DID say there would be a Penguin refresh this year...So I was a little surprised as well. But I can't see how they can possibly test the effectiveness of these updates/refreshes when Pigeon is so out of control still.

    Thanks for posting Kate!

You have a point about what we thought was Pigeon going cray cray. Maybe some of the new ones I was seeing in the Seattle Chiro pack are ones that were previously hit by Panda?

The good news is this algo is supposed to favor smaller sites.

Here is a post from JenStar who is a great source of info and often gets info direct from G.

Same here, Eric. Although, reading about the Panda refresh did make my lunch decision easier, Panda Express!

So far I haven't noticed any changes in the SERP's. Hoping others who see the changes share some screenshots of before and after!
