Who are the TOP Local Search Experts? Do you know who they all are? Are you subscribed to all their blogs to stay on top of the latest news and tips?

Do you know their personal and professional backgrounds? Well if not, here's your chance to learn more.

I was contacted by Nyagoslav Zhekov 3 months ago and was asked to participate. He let me know the list just went live. So click over read it, bookmark it and subscribe to anyone's blog you may have missed.

Who Is Who in Local SEO

This is an article I have been planning for very, very long time. Although there are a few great lists of local SEO specialists I frequently refer to (David Mihm?s, Mike Ramsey?s, Matthew Hunt?s), there is no single resource which gives more insights into who the people behind the names and the websites actually are. In fact, this is a problem not just with local SEO in particular, but with the online marketing industry as a whole. On the one side are the customers, for whom it is often very difficult to determine which SEO to choose. Traditionally, the cornerstones have been testimonials, recommendations from friends, and general awareness of the reputation of the service provider.

But in a business where the ?seller? and the ?buyer? could be as far from each other as tens of thousands of miles (in my case for example), these traditional guides could sometimes be insufficient. And that is why these people staying on the other side ? the local SEO specialists/consultants/providers/ninjas/gourmands, might need some additional ?trust push? in order to gain authority and trustworthiness.

So here it is: my collection of aspiring local SEOs!

Thanks for including me Nyag and thanks for the great list!

Hey, great list and great to see so many of those Local experts actively involved on this forum. Thank you all, especially you Linda. :)

This is an AWESOME collection of Local SEO Experts. Thanks so much to Nyagoslav for compiling it. I've always thought that we are lucky within "Local" to have so much expertise and some great Blogs to follow.

Thanks Linda for posting about my article here. As both you and Nick (and others outside this forum) mentioned about blogs, I think I will be adding links to the blogs of all of the specialists in the near days. Jim Rudnick also gave the idea to create a badge that one could use for bragging purposes, so if there is some further interest I'd think of implementing this idea, too.

I for one would gain a lot from seeing that thread, so excited to hear about it.

Within this thread (below), I attempted to share my RSS feed, however, it's certainly not a comprehesive list of Local (or Organic) blogs, but rather the few that I've decided to follow with a budget of time.

I benefit from following a blend of other blogs (in addition to Local) that give a general overview of SEO - I highly value Search Engine Land as an overall news resource on the happenings in search. Point Blank SEO has become a very authoritative commentary on Link Building tactics.

Anyway, I'm certainly looking forward to seeing the next post on this Nyagoslav, and I'm sure others are as well!

Thanks again Nyag, I know that was a ton of work to put together. We appreciate you!

Thanks Nick for linking to your list of RSS feeds. That was a really good addition to this thread!
