Yahoo Is Now Using Google Search Results

Anybody else hear about this? I thought I would have heard about it on here for sure:

Yahoo enters deal to display Google search results | The Verge

They don't have to use Google, but they have the option. Just did a search on Yahoo (looking for a cached page) and it was all Google, unbranded of course. It sounds like they can switch to Bing for different queries but why would you?

With a lot of bad news lately with 3 pack updates, dupes getting harder to find, this news offsets that pretty well I think. We just got an extra 12.5% search volume boys and girls!

Haha Love it Joshua! Thanks for sharing. Yes, I was surprised no one raised it before either.

What do you guys think? Does anyone care about Yahoo these days?
I guess the 12% that use it do.

This isn't backed by any stats, but it seems like that 12% is mostly made up of people that have used Yahoo for years, with very few new users, when compared to Google or Bing.

I imagine you guys are correct on who uses Yahoo, especially as the search volume for it is trending downwards.

I mean it is good news for us right? Working to climb rankings on Google will now (maybe) help on Yahoo and we can all continue to not care about Yahoo. Win-win.
