    What's With the Crazy One-Box?

Doing some searches today and I'm coming across one-boxes where there shouldn't be a one-box. Here's one example, searching for "allstate midland tx", which is a city with plenty of Allstate agents, returns a one-box. I've seen a similar result in other cities for similar brands. Anyone else seeing funky one-box stuff?

I haven't seen any abnormal today so I checked the Moz Forecast and it doesn't show any huge jumps. Is it just Allstate you're noticing it for?

A few other Insurance brands as well. Seems to be Insurance-centric.

    Thanks Colan!

Have you started analyzing why Google thinks those that scored the 1 box are special?

All the citations I looked at / found had the brand name, his name and the local in the URL slug. \_(ツ)_/

I'll be curious what you find Colan.
