Please Help Showing up for keyword and zip code, but not key term and city

    Hi All,

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and I would greatly appreciate any advice.

I verified my local business into Google about 10 days ago. It shows up if you google the company name and city. "Same Day Appliance Repair West Palm Beach." It also shows up in the list if you Google the key term "appliance repair" and the zip code which is 33405. However if you Google the key term appliance repair and the city name West Palm Beach it doesn't show up anywhere on the list. This is what most people will be searching. I understand I won't be on the top yet, but I was hoping to at least be on the list.

Has anybody ever heard of or seen this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for your time

    Hi golfer and welcome.

When you 1st set up a listing it will only show for very specific terms. It takes awhile to fully work into the local database to show up for keyword searches.

Question: Who do people make checks out to? What name is on bank acct?

FYI it looks like the real business name is Same Day Appliance Repair. If so you can't add West Palm Beach. Adding city to the name is a violation.

This is tough because your business name is pretty similar to a lot of listings that exist in that list. There is a

    Palm Beach Appliance Repair"

    Appliance Repair West Palm Beach

    Palm Beach Appliance Service Inc

    Palm Beach Appliance Repair

    Palm Beach Appliance Repair

So because there are so many fake keyword-stuffed listings out there, it's going to be a very tough market to compete in. You also don't rank organically in the top 50 so it's even harder.

Your industry is inundated with spam - I'd suggest you start reporting it.

The one website alone has several listings:
