    GMB Service Area Question

The company i work for (garage door company) opened a new location (physical address - we serve customers at our business address and also delivers services to customers locations ) in a different city. i tried to open a new location in GMB but i never received the postcard. so after a month i contact them and they ask from me pictures of the place, picture of the car, invoices and lease. I delivered it all.

the answer i got from them is that i need to use 1 location for all my service areas even if i have a physical stores in 2 different locations.

I sent them an examples of businesses that doing the same and the answer i got is:
"you can report to Google maps."

Meanwhile they decided to suspend my account.

I tried to ask why but i didn't get any answer (i really don't understand why they don't want to tell you what you did wrong)

So now we deleted the new list and open a new account for the old one. And now we don't know what to do we afraid to do something wrong.

    1. Do i really can't open a new page for another location in GMB ?
    2. what should i do after creating a new account?

    Re: GMB Service Area Question

    Hi Omer,

Google is quick to suspend second pages for SAB's, because they are so often abused and created solely for ranking purposes. Some questions for you:

    1. How far is the second city from the first city?
    2. Are both offices staffed during the stated hours with employees of the business?
    3. Have you tried Facebook and/or Twitter GMB support?

Would you be able to share the business details so we can take a look here for you?

    Cheers!

    Re: GMB Service Area Question

    Hi Colan!
    1. The cities we talking about are Charlotte NC and Raleigh NC so its about 170 miles.
    2. Yes. Both locations are staffed during the stated hours.
    3. No i didn't. We only spoke with them over phone and via email.

I am taking your advice and i will contact them via facebook. I will update...

Was the address hidden at all on the first listing you set up? I'm assuming it wasn't hidden on the second.

    Re: GMB Service Area Question

    Hi guys!
Finally google reinstate our list. You asking why or how? I don't really know, i can only say we call them dozens of times asking what to do? But we never got an answer until one day they decided to reinstate the list.
