Post GMB Problem: Thousands of Unforeseen/Unexpected "Resolve Updates"

I have a new issue (this morning) with ALL my GMB accounts. Suddenly and unexpectedly I have literally thousands of “resolve updates” in all my accounts. When I click on "resolve updates" (for ANY of the MANY), every page looks like the screenshot I have provided here. I have no clue how to resolve all these. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi James, sounds like a nightmare!

Have you called or Tweeted support yet? That's 1st thing to do.

Let's see if Joy or anyone here knows what's up.

If you don't get a solution, then you should post at the GMB Community, then post the link here so I'll be sure to see it and I can escalate for you. (After trying support directly.)

Re: GMB Problem: Thousands of Unforeseen/Unexpected "Resolve Updates"

The new attributes are rolling out.

I downloaded my sheet, made the adjustment, uploaded and got errors on all updates.

I spoke with GMB support. It sounds like there are some issues with the system that need to be worked out. I ended up deleting the attributes column that was causing the error. It looks like they screwed up some verbiage - Inapplicable vs Not Applicable. For me it was the Offerings: has_oil_change.

    Anyone else getting errors?

Re: GMB Problem: Thousands of Unforeseen/Unexpected "Resolve Updates"

As always, thank you Linda. I did tweet to GMB and I am awaiting something from them. But I can’t possibly resolve all these before I die. There are literally thousands and thousands of “resolve updates” that sprang up overnight. When I click on the area they want me to in order to address the issues it involves potentially downloading re-uploading a spreadsheet etc etc. which I have no intention on doing.

Thanx Caleb. So do you think these "Resolve Updates" will somehow miraculously disappear when I log back in sometime later this week?

Re: GMB Problem: Thousands of Unforeseen/Unexpected "Resolve Updates"

I went to Caleb's link (below is the 1st step) and I find no way (on my dash) to "accept all Google updates related to attributes" (not that I even want to):
    :

    1. In your dashboard, accept all Google updates related to attributes.

Re: GMB Problem: Thousands of Unforeseen/Unexpected "Resolve Updates"

I couldn't find a way to accept all updates either. I had to manually do it on the bulk upload sheet, but I only have 57 listings. It sounds like you'll have to address these manually at some point.

    Thanks much Caleb!

I need to run right now but will check the private GMB board to see if this has been escalated and if there is any news.

Slight chance it could all be corrected on G's end if it's related to this update.

Re: GMB Problem: Thousands of Unforeseen/Unexpected "Resolve Updates"

Thanks Caleb. I did download a sheet from one of my smaller accounts. There was a first column labeled “google updates” (which added “amenities” to some which made NO sense). Can you describe exactly what you did when re-uploading? Did you merely eliminate that column and re-upload?
