    Looking for a new hangout

Hi - Ive been invovled in SEO for around 15 years, until recently Ive never really done client work, I have my own affiliate sites which cash in from CPA/Adsense and Clickbank.

Ive done a lot of blackhat stuff outright spam/cloaking/the lot and still do to an extent. Ill admit Ive even spammed local results in the past.

Recently Ive had a bit of an eye opener and realised just how much people will pay for client work. I only have 2 clients at the moment but as far as I am concerned the work is pretty easy, guiding people to do things themselves or acting as a second opinoin is something that Im really enjoying doing.

I decided as I am getting more into the client side of things I should probably network in a community with people who are doing the same.

Ive had a read of some threads and think I will also be able to give an interesting take on whats going on with some of the blackhat discussions I see.

    Thanks for approving my account!

One thing that does interest me is the advanced local search training that is mentioned around this forum, I am been asked more and more about local stuff and want to truely master it. I know more than the basics but want to be the best at it, can anyone tell me a bit about the training/where to access/buy it? I can find a link to a consulting service but not sure where to find the training.

Welcome James. Glad to have you with us.

FYI we tend to be pretty white hat here and the Local Search training course I referred you to, is as well.

You'll find local is a very different animal than organic SEO or affiliate marketing. I've done both in the past too and this is soooo much harder!

But you're in the right place and we're here to help if you ever have questions.
