    Greetings From Cave Creek Arizona

First of all, I want to say how excited I am to be part of what I think is one of the most valuable and helpful Local Search forums on the Internet.

No where have I ever seen a forum with more knowledgeable yet giving group of experts in my 16 years of SEO.

My background is local SEO and for 16 years my main focus has been helping local businesses with on-page and off page local SEO.

As Google continues to evolve, I now focus on creating effective Content Marketing strategies combined with effective content distribution and social signals to help local businesses please the Google algorithm with a steady stream of relevant content targeting specific keywords with local modifiers.

My biggest obstacle is educating local businesses that cheap SEO services that still rely on artificial techniques designed to trick Google are not looking after their best interests. You know, Spun articles, back link spam, duplicate content for service areas etc...

I have become more involved with Google Places (I still call it that) as my phone began ringing from desperate business owners that had seen their listing drop or disappear.

Knowing my limitations, but wanting to become well versed at Google Places is how I found this forum.

I recently participated in Linda's private training and I must say, after many years of buying training guides, listening to seminars, and looking for answers, this was the absolute best investment I have ever made.

Linda, as well as many of the contributors here are doing a great service to people like myself, as well as small businesses that rely on Google local to feed their families.

It takes a special breed to work with local businesses. You must love what you do and understand the people you are helping are local people with families and are depending on us to help them keep their doors open and grow.

Thank you Linda for teaching this old SEO pro some new approaches and helping me to help others!

As I continue to expand my knowledge regarding the crazy world of Google Plus Local, I hope to help people as many of the experts here already do.

If it regards content marketing or local SEO, I can usually help and look forward to doing so.

Really liked this part: "Linda, as well as many of the contributors here are doing a great service to people like myself, as well as small businesses that rely on Google local to feed their families."

Always so nice to see consultants that are in this for the right reasons and really care about helping their customers succeed.

You are a great addition to the forum, have already made valuable contributions and we're happy to have you as part of the team!

I agree that the work we do for the small business owner in our locals markets is extremely important. We literally can be the difference between a small business owner succeeding or failing. I take very seriously that we can affect the abilty for someone to feed their family.

Hey Jeffery I noticed something that maybe you hadn't seen. You have 2 Google + Local listings using the same phone number.

Thanks for the heads up Cleaner!

I moved several years ago and Google does not want to delete my old listing. I have been so busy with clients that i have neglected my own stuff.

Kind of like the landscaper that has no time to cut their own grass!!

I went in again last night and the dupe has been attended to.

It is great to see people on this forum are watching each other's backs!
