Red face Poking Head Out of the Cyber-Jungle *Waving Enthusiastically*

    Hello out there...

It's Diana (aka the ARKlady) a notorious lurker who is based in a small, rustic lake resort town in California.

    My story?

Well, my first career was as a wild animal behavior consultant and trainer.

Seriously, Google me on that one if you don't believe it.

However, I fell into professional writing and online marketing after a tumble from the top of a zoo hay barn rendered me unable to continue. (Linda, I was at the WAP training elephants which is why I was kinda your neighbor.)

My love for coffee houses landed me my first gigs writing online back in 1994, I launched an internet magazine in 1995 and then lost my team (web designer, graphics peeps, etc) which meant I had to learn to do it all myself.

Ugh. Not my thing but I can do just about anything as a result--if I have to.

In 2000 I decided I wanted to create a new business model for myself and I began cyber-jungle trailblazing.

I've done a lot of different things, the last one before morphing into local lead generation and reputation, was working as a local seo and helping web peeps with seo website redesign and optimized content.

Why? Because for some odd reason I like a challenge and it keeps me from being bored.

I started into G+ on the second day of beta and knew it was going to be a game changer. But helping people with reputation and with getting good rankings so the phone rings makes me happy.

Just out of a long health crisis, I began working seriously on marketing reputation and maps last year.

My latest brag? The client who hired me to fix their reputation so they could sell, sold. I lost them when the new owner came on, they were as nasty as the previous crew, which taught me that there is usually a reason businesses get a bad rep, and so their bad reputation resurfaced.

Fast forward to now, the revenge is that their competitor hired me and in 45 days hit the first page of Google (and yes, I am competing against my own work...LOL) and within another week have first page multiple listings for multiple keywords in all three search engines.

Plus, they do what I tell them and have received half a dozen 5 star reviews in the last two weeks...all live.

They are as happy as I am, they are awesomely nice, and so life is good in Guerrero land.

One of the reasons I changed my business model is I lost everything twice in the past 15 years due to the accident and the still unidentified health challenge.

Today I am happy to say that I have formed an agency with some other professionals who are specialists in their fields and am looking forward to having a record year.

I've partnered with the local chamber and am doing educational programs for businesses and a lot more.

Finally, I enjoy networking and meeting other professionals online and am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

    See you in the forums?

Actually, taming technology and taming animals is pretty similar...but yes, great way to learn more about each other.
