    "The State of Local Search"
FEATURING: Mike Blumenthal, Andrew Shotland & Phil Rozek
(Myles Anderson from BrightLocal is moderating and I'll be on hand for Live Q & A)

We have over 800 people registered and realize we won't be able to get to everyone's questions during the event. Myles sent a request to attendees for questions in advance and we have a ton.

So if you still have questions after the webinar, you'll be able to ask them here and we'll try to get the speakers to answer them for you.

If you haven't registered for tomorrow, please do so now. Webinar is almost full.

See you here after the webinar. Bring your questions....

Re: State of Local Search Webinar Q & A

Thanks everyone for attending. It was awesome!

Huge thanks to all the speakers for their valuable insights too!

We had literally HUNDREDS of questions we could not get to.
Post your unanswered questions here and we'll try to help!

(FYI If you go to the forum home page you'll see everything organized by topic - so for instance we had lots of questions about reviews and service area businesses - there are sub-forums for those and other topics that may already have the answers you seek. But post anyway and we'll direct you if there is a detailed thread that addresses your question.)

Re: State of Local Search Webinar Q & A

Lots of good information. Mike shared with me on twitter the geo positioning data providers to go check to see if your pin is positioned correctly with your address. so I'll post those here for others that would like that information.

    For all maps:
    • TeleAtlas (apple, gps),
    • OpenStreetMap (apple/mapquest/gps),
    • Navteq (Yahoo, Bing, Mapquest),
    • Mapmaker

Each have a different correction page:
    • mapinsight.teleatlas.com
    • mapreporter.navteq.com
    • google.com/mapmaker
    • openstreetmap.org

Any chance on getting the slides posted here or a link to where they reside?

Thanks so much for all the hard work that went into this. I know this was a lot of work.
