I am experiencing this same thing for a client - and we have called GMB and they have "escalated" the "technical issue" but it's been over a week and no change what so ever. And I have followed up to their email, and no response what so ever.

Sadly the GSC tip is out of the question due to the client being part of a large franchise (aka, we do not have server access to verify the listing in GSC)...

Does anyone have any other advice?

The corporate team needs to create the listing since they own the brand and all of the listings. Have your client contact corporate to create and verify the listing.

I have a few clients that their GMB page has said "
Pending
Your business is verified. Listings may be reviewed for quality and can take up to 3 days to be published."

I have reached out to Google Support with this reply

Does anyone have a solution for this? I am racking my brain and going crazy to get these listings up

We already have the listing verified by postcard and everything for the GMB listing, it is its own "franchise" just they do not have the info for the GSC.

Called again today and they keep just saying they are aware of the technical issue.

Are you saying he purchased the individual franchise or that he is the CEO at Corporate? We were lobbying for GMB access to franchise locations last year. Since I am not at liberty to say who it was, I'll use Subway as an example. We went round and round with GMB to gain access to the GMB listings and at the end of the day, Google told us that Subway owns the brand, domain, and the GMB listings. We had an issue where the franchise owner had their contract terminated by court order. They refused to transfer ownership access to us or Corporate. I petitioned GMB to unverify the listings so we could claim them.

If the corporate team has a Bulk verified account, they would be able to instantly verify the listing or contact GMB support for help.

Yes, still receiving the "technical issue" response regarding clients' listings that are in 'pending review' as of last week.

@MeganR - I'd suggest creating a thread over at the GMB forum if you haven't done so already and list the business details in the thread.
