GMB Photo Tags

I have noticed that when i upload a photo using my phone i have the option to add a tag to the photo. And I am able to see that tag is in when open my listing using google search but not using goole maps.

Can anybody comment if this tags can be used as ranking factor?

Right click the image on windows desktop and you will able to edit tags.

I'm not really sure if tags alone can be use as a ranking factor. You should try renaming your photos to a proper kw, add a short description and proper tags before you upload it. Also, Geotagging helps since it will directly link to your business location.
