This is my suggestion.

It looks like you need to request GMB reinstate the old listing. I'd suggest contacting GMB support. Give them this URL as it contains the place id: Google Maps

You can also mention there were a ton of reviews on the listing. They should be able to get them back as well.

If you want to post this over at the GMB forum, I can also ask Google to do it for you but you'll need to list the details of the listing in a public thread. Community forum - Google My Business Help

Trying to request reinstating now but unsuccessfully. They won't let me submit it without the GMB listing address. We don't have that because hibu managed it. I requested access to the newly created listing from WW owner. If he figures out how to add me I will submit that URL. This is crazy. The only way to talk to them is with the URL that you are attempting to acquire. If you have any other ways I might communicate with them let me know. They blocked my post.

Thank you immensely @JoyHawkins! Google came through and restored the reviews. They restored them to the new GMB listing. Thank you so much for your patience with me and for escalating this for us. We appreciate it more than I can say! Happy New Year!

HI Ben,

Can you help with GMB listings stuck in "pending" mode? If so, let's talk ! I have an attorney in a shared office space, but they legitimately have their own suite (not shared) and their own attorney staff in the office everyday. We received the verification postcard, but the listing is still in "PENDING" mode and has been for over 2 mos. I've been told time and time again, that it is "a technical glitch" and our issue has been "escalated", but nothing happens. Please reach out to me if you are able to help with this issue.
