How does it work for an agency to claim a GBP for an owner?

I have a client whose profile is unclaimed.

I'd like to claim it for them - with them as the owner, and me as a manager.

Is it possible for me to handle that process and set them up as the owner? How do I do that?

In order to add them to the listing, you have to be an owner. So you could claim it as the owner, add them as an owner as well after it's verified, but then transfer primary ownership to them after 7 days.

You might run into issues verifying a listing on someone's behalf. Video verification is the most common method and isn't something an agency can complete on behalf of a business.
