Unable to change the primary GBP category?

Hello, all you GBP Experts!

I have tried to change the primary category on a variety of different GBP profiles and it isn't letting me do so today. The primary category is fixed and cannot be altered. Is this a change or related to something else I'm not aware of? There seem to be some strange things happening within GBP with more posts and photo rejection as well. Is anyone else noticing the same?

Where is the X that allows you to remove the primary category?

I had tried highlighting the category in the box and replacing it but it didn't work.

Today it did!
